We talked about: How will President Obama handle failure? Will he go crazy? What ramifications will the election of Scott Brown have? Do we still have a 'sacred honor' to pledge as the founding fathers did?

I came upon your blog with interest... or maybe just a curiosity.
It wasn't of President Obama loosing his cool, or having to go to psychotherapy.
What struck me was the 'sacred honor' pledge that you mention...
These are Jefferson's words:
"And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor."
One must take the quote as a whole, where the (protection of) divine Providence is firmly relied on and taken into consideration. Where the Lives, Fortunes and that of sacred Honor are the cornerstone supporters of our Constitution.
Might we look at the opportunities presented and the choices made that allow the road travelled to unfold in the course made-manifest?
