I have to say that the Grandrone's continued support of Fred Thompson even after his numbers have slipped to almost Pauline (meaning Ron) lows has begun to sound a smidgen like denial. The "It's all part of the big plan" thing works for so long, then you have to start wondering why the horse hasn't bothered to leave the gate.
